In 2018, she earned a James Beard Foundation Award nomination for her work on CNN Travel's interactive digital feature, "Family Meal." She has been featured on the Travel Channel, NBC, EightFortyEight, and has been a guest speaker at the Women Chefs and Restaurateurs Conference and Food Writers' Workshop.
Drawn to experimental ideas in art, music, mysticism, pharmacology, esoterica and culture, she is the former edibles columnist for Snoop Dogg's Merry Jane and cannabis astrologer for Leafly, and and currently runs an experimental literary subscription-based Substack journal called The Weed Witch. She is passionate about pragmatic harm reduction through the power of education and storytelling, frequently demystifying the cultural perception of complex topics like terroir, lifestyle, mental health, ancient holistic practices, women's reproductive health, and policy initiatives. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering with children and seniors on progressive community-based initiatives.
