Carly Fisher is a James Beard Foundation Award nominated journalist, author of "Easy Weekend Getaways in the Hudson Valley & Catskills," and award-winning strategist producing custom storytelling and content design for brands of all sizes. 

Her words on food, wine, travel, cannabis, and sensory experiences at-large appear in GQ, Fodors Travel, Plate Magazine, Bon Appetit, Edible, Food & Wine, Saveur, and Wine Enthusiast. Her work on CNN Travel's interactive digital feature, "Family Meal" earned a JBFA nomination in 2018.

Along with writing, she has been featured in New York Magazine, High Times, Reader's Digest, and a contributor to "The Art of Cooking with Cannabis"; as a guest on the Travel Channel, NBC, EightFortyEight; and speaker at Baruch College, the Women Chefs and Restaurateurs Conference, and Food Writers' Workshop. She is also the former contributing editor at Fodors Travel, NBC's The Feast, Food Fanatics, and Hilton Club Traveler, and edibles columnist for Snoop Dogg's Merry Jane and weed astrologer at Leafly.

She runs a newsletter and podcast called Pipe Dreams by The Weed Witch, an inbox wildcard and content sample platter featuring interviews like a mystic feminist head shop owner in Mexico City, permaculture-obsessed French winemakers using hempcrete as part of their Net-Zero sustainability goals, and digging into the memoirs from one of San Francisco's most legendary canna-families from the 1980s. 

When not writing, she lives in New York City where she teaches Pilates, mentors kids at 826NYC, and frequently gets lost in search of happy accidents at delicious places. ​
