Hello. I am a journalist, author, editor, and multi-disciplinary creative. I produce experimental media, consulting projects, and custom storytelling for big brands and scrappy start-ups. In 2018, I earned a James Beard Foundation Award nomination for my work on CNN Travel's interactive digital feature, "Family Meal." I have been featured on the Travel Channel, NBC, EightFortyEight, and have been a guest speaker at the Women Chefs and Restaurateurs Conference and Food Writers' Workshop.
Drawn to experimental ideas in art, music, mysticism, pharmacology, esoterica and culture, Snoop Dogg trusted me to write about edibles for Merry Jane and Leafly let me serve as their cannabis astrologer. I run the experimental literary subscription-based Substack journal, The Weed Witch.
I am passionate about pragmatic harm reduction through the power of education and storytelling, frequently demystifying the cultural perception of complex topics like terroir, lifestyle, mental health, ancient holistic practices, women's reproductive health, and policy initiatives.
